Google won’t bend over for Viacom

I have to say I’m quite pleased that Google won’t be lubing up for Viacom after all.

Having recently replied to Viacoms law suit, it is very clear that Google don’t intend to give up without a fight and have demanded to go to trial in front of a jury.

I’m sure this case will have all interested parties hanging on the edge of their seats as it unfolds. Personally I fancy Google’s chances in this. One of lawyers tackling this on Google’s behalf is Philip Beck who was a member of the firm that fought George Bush’s side of the Florida Vote-Counting case. That’s about as close to Johnnie Cochran as it gets, if not better.
